Summer Topographical Surveys

The hot summer made a pleasant change from the previous months ensuring that productivity remained constant and days werent lost due to the weather. Although there were still some comments about working in excessive heat, but not to worry as the office is air conditioned! Surveys were undertaken from Bristol University to Industrial Estates in Cwmbran and many areas inbetween. Plenty of Red Kites were spotted circling above in Aylesbury whilst the M25 was also navigated due to several jobs in Surrey. Herefordshire was once again a popular destination with gardens and farms being surveyed. Additional areas of Worcester City Centre also needed mapping along with a private estate in Cheltenham. An extremely early morning also saw the site team undertake a verification survey in Bromsgrove while closer to home a pub survey was carried out and the lunch menu also tested.

Halloween came early in August when we were commissioned to carry out a tomb location survey in Berkeley, for those interested the resting place of Edward Jenner and the last court Jester, Dicky Pearce.
