Too busy surveying…

Apologies for not updating our news feed recently, we’ve been too busy !!

2014 saw us expand our workforce with plans afoot for future growth as well. We also took ownership of a new Faro Laser Scanner to improve our measured building survey output, this has not only saved on site time but has been an invaluable tool for providing client specific information when requested at a later date.

Survey wise we have continued to provide topographical and measured building plans for a range of clients/architects. We have had teams scaling the width and breadth of the country, thankful for a drier Winter than last year.

Wiltshire and Somerset have been particularly prominent as go to places recently. Several projects saw us combine traditional total station methods along with vehicle mounted laser scanning to enable data capture of dual carriageways and motorways without the need for Traffic Management. The ever increasing need to look for renewable energy sources has also seen a surge in GPS surveys of open fields earmarked for potential solar farms.

February 2015 found Monument sponsoring a car in the Wyedean Rally, where local  favourite Nik Elsmore finished 1st in class and 5th overall.

The next few weeks will see teams travel to Yorkshire and Bath as well as plenty of local surveys in Gloucestershire & Worcestershire.

Lets hope the rest of the year continues in the same vein !
